With a small population of 6,296 (2021 Census) the small suburb of Fitzgibbon sits, within its small triangular-bordered shape, full mostly of  small private dwellings. With a big number of migrants as residents, a community centre big on social inclusion, Fitzgibbon is also ‘big’ on families, green spaces (lots of parks!), child care options and multiculturalism.

Transport Connections

For property here, located north of Brisbane CBD, just a 29 minute drive will get you the 16 odd kilometres along Gympie Rd/Gympie Arterial Rd. This arterial road is the main road leading north and to the northern suburbs – from the Brisbane CBD to Fitzgibbon.

This easy access to the Highway is another positive feature of property in Fitzgibbon, as driving an hour further north will have you at the stunning Sunshine Coast. Or turn off onto the Gateway Motorway and head south an hour and 10 minutes to arrive at the glitzy Gold Coast.
