There are five churches in Bridgeman Downs to welcome one and all. These include Victory Church, Bridgeman Baptist, Bridgeman Downs Christian Outreach Centre, C3 Church and Anglican Church of the resurrection.

Parks and Recreation

For those interested in the outdoors wide and green there are thirteen parks! And if that doesn’t do it for you there’s the Bunyaville Conservation Park . Here you can partake of bush walking, horse riding, cycling, picnicking and more. Take your pick or do them all – and don’t forget the pooch!

There is also Dawn Road Reserve – ‘a significant piece of urban green’. Hike or run the easy 4.5km loop trail in an hour to the soundtrack of singing birds. If you’re in luck, you’ll perhaps spot a koala or a kangaroo – or both!

Transport

Transport: Buses abound with a trip to CBD taking just 30 minutes, Beckett Rd being the main corridor. If you’re after a train there are three stations to choose from close by at Carseldine, Bald Hills and Zillmere.

Education

There are no schools in Bridgeman Downs itself, however good choices are available in the neighbouring suburbs. The nearest options are located in Bald Hills to the north, Aspley to the east and McDowell to the south. Similarly, schools are available in Albany Creek to the west and Chermside to the south-east.
