Carindale
Developed in the 1980s and benefitting from good growth in recent years, Carindale is a newer suburb of Brisbane, located 13 km east of the city centre on Cleveland Road and Bulimba Creek, bounded to the east by the Gateway Motorway. Many of the homes in the area are of the brick and tile style, with some homes being updated and modernised by rendering.
Lavish high-end homes cluster around the Pacific Golf Course, one of the best golf courses in Brisbane, making Carindale an upmarket lifestyle choice. The majority of homes, nearly 60%, are occupied by couples with children, with 9% being occupied by single parent families. The area’s dwellings comprise over 92% stand alone houses, with townhouses accounting for just 6%.
